We guarantee within the guarantee and after-guarantee service that an authorized person will contact you within 48 hours upon reporting your claim and that the claim will be settled within 10 working days. We also undertake to provide spare parts for the period of at least 5 years upon the date of purchase or to ensure their replaceability. To comply with the conditions for claim assertion, it is necessary to observe the following rules for bath installation. Correct bath installation: The same principles apply to both bath types (hydro-massage baths and baths without systems): 1. Never perform installation using the method of fixed embedding, i.e. cementing tiles only after installation of the bath in the prepared space. The bath should be removable upwards. 2. Install the bath in the prepared space. The floor should be even and provided with tiles or concreted, with a prepared drain and water supply. Apply tiles at least 10 cm below the level of the bath edge. 3. An installation kit used for proper installation of the product is included in the delivery of each bath. A list of components is attached to each installation kit. The adjustable feet included are not self-supporting; they are to be used only for bath levelling and adjustment of its correct height. A special installation kit is supplied with some bath types; however, the procedure for their installation is identical. When ordering a hydro-massage bath, remember the following: If you are ordering a bath with a flushing and disinfection system, remember to prepare a supply outlet with a valve with an external ½” thread in the area under the bath. An adequate number of sufficiently large installation holes for proper access to all components should be created in order to allow inspections and repairs. |
If it is not possible to comply with this requirement, the bath must be
removable without demolition works. Make sure upon installation that the bath can be removed in
an upwards direction after cutting the silicone and disconnecting the drain. Make sure that the bath
removal is not prevented by other items in the bathroom such as washbasins, shelves, taps or graded
ceiling above the bath etc. It is necessary to remove such items before inspection or service action.
The procedure described here is not a complete description of building preparation and is not a substitute
for it. Please ask TEiKO for complete instructions or download them at: www.teiko.cz.
